The Emmanuel Life Rhythms App provides easy access to many of our discipleship resources.
You can download the app on any smart phone by clicking here. (Please note if you open this on your desktop machine, it will redirect you to the Emmanuel website.)
Upon opening the app, you will be asked to select the main church which you attend and you will find some resources specific to each church.
Some of the main app features for you to avail of daily include:
- Bible Reading - our reading plan for each day is available here, and connects to the YouVersion app for ease of accessibility for each of the relevant passages.
- Phil's Devotional – this will be accessible using the app each day going forward. You can also look back to some of the previous devotions using this area.
- Sermon Of The Week – the podcast from the previous Sunday will be available to stream throughout the week.
- Family Discipleship - for those with children or young people in any of our Sunday morning environments, this section will help you to continue conversations and outwork much of the learning with your children throughout the week.
Other key features within the app to draw your attention to include:
- Resources Section – this is structured into different areas, which will increasingly be populated with resources relevant to each of our four areas of Life Rhythms:
Family / Relationships
Mission / Work
Prayer / Abiding
Rest / Health
This will help you to outwork each of these individually and will also be used as resources within Lifegroups.
- Switch Church – you can use this area to flow between the Lurgan and Portadown churches and avail of some of the unique resources/teaching from each location.
The app is pre-set with push notifications. We recognise that some people get frustrated at these pinging through constantly, so notifications in the app will only be used sparingly and for essential updates. We therefore encourage you to keep these switched on, so that you don't miss any key updates.
We pray that this resource will prove to be productive and fruitful as we daily live our lives for Jesus, while allowing us to stay rooted together in these shared practices.
